Swinging for a Cure: Marlborough Country Club's Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The Marlborough Country Club recently hosted its annual charity golf tournament, combining fun on the fairways with a noble cause. This year's event, organized by the Women's Association, raised funds for breast cancer and prostate cancer research.

The event supported two organizations: Pawsitively 4 Pink, a local charity assisting low-income women with breast cancer, and the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.

Participants enjoyed various challenges on the course, including closest-to-the-pin contests, longest drive competitions, and even a "miracle shot" opportunity. The day also featured raffles, gift baskets, and a putting contest with unique prizes.

Many attendees shared personal connections to the cause, including breast cancer survivors and those currently battling prostate cancer. The tournament has raised over $175,000 for cancer research to date.

The event exemplified the Women's Association's mission of fostering camaraderie, competition, and community. With the support of numerous sponsors and volunteers, including local high school students, the tournament continues to grow and make a significant impact in the fight against cancer.

If you missed out on this year's sold-out event, keep an eye on the Marlborough Country Club website for information about next year's tournament and your chance to participate in this meaningful and enjoyable day of golf.
