WMCT-TV’s Ryan Malyar takes you inside the Marlborough Senior Center’s 10-year anniversary celebration, a milestone event honoring a decade of growth, community, and service. Opened in 2015, the center has become a vital space for Marlborough’s seniors, offering programs, activities, and a place to connect. The event was filled with reflections from key figures who helped make the center a reality, including Senior Center Executive Director Trish Pope, Mayor Christian Dumais, former Mayor Arthur Vigeant, and Representative Danielle Gregoire. They shared stories about the center’s beginnings, its rapid expansion, and the role it plays today in the lives of local seniors. Guests enjoyed a meal catered by Kennedy’s, music from The Romeos Duo, and a chance to reconnect with friends. Special thanks were given to the staff, volunteers, and DPW workers who have kept the center running smoothly and looking great over the years. Check out the highlights from this special day and hear from the people who have made the Marlborough Senior Center what it is today!
