Bone City Rocks for Homeless Veterans

Join host Ryan Malyar for an inspiring episode of Marlborough Minute featuring Cori Desrosiers, who's organizing the second annual Bone City Rocks for Homeless Veterans fundraiser. Set for February 1st, 2025 at the Marlborough Moose Lodge, this event promises a night of great music, food, and community support for an important cause.

Last year's inaugural event raised an impressive $5,700 for the New England Center and Home for Veterans, surpassing its initial goal. This year, Desrosiers aims even higher, bringing together local bands Bone City and Zen Music Men for an evening of cover hits and dancing. The event will feature delicious food from local favorites including Fireflies, Welly's, CJs, and Eviva Trattoria, plus Desrosiers' own homemade specialties.

Tickets are $15 in pre-sale or $20 at the door, with doors opening at 6 PM. The night includes 50/50 raffles and a full bar, with all proceeds benefiting homeless veterans.

Desrosiers, who comes from a long line of veterans (including a surprising connection to Francis Scott Key!), shares her passion for supporting those who've served our country.

The Moose Lodge is located at 67 Fitchburg Street in Marlborough, MA.

Tickets are available at the Lodge or through the event's Facebook page.

Bring your dancing shoes and join the community in making a difference for our veterans! Want to help? Volunteers are welcome to assist with raffle tickets during the event. Cash is preferred, but Venmo payments will also be accepted.
