Mayoral Debate

WMCT was there this morning when Employment Options held the first debate of the candidates for Mayor (Arthur Vigeant and Matthew Jones) since the Primary last week.  The debate will be aired on WMCT several times leading up to the Novmeber 1st elections.

Movie House Marathon Coming Soon!

WMCT-TV announced that on Saturday, October 22nd & 29th there will be a Movie House Marathon. Classic Hitchcock and Vincent Price movies are on tap starting at 7pm both nights!
“We hope that this will get our viewers ready for our Halloween Day programming which will feature more of our Halloween-themed programming,” stated Dan Guindon.

Candidate Speeches Complete

Every election year, WMCT-TV offers up an hour of studio time so each candidate for public office can record an announcement of up to 10 minutes to play on the channel.  For the last two weeks the candidates have been taping these announcements and the last day to tape them was Saturday.

Now the crew of WMCT-TV will be putting them together by order of the seat being sought.  Check back here for the start of play times which we expect to be next Monday the 9th.

John Brown Bell Presentation

On Monday night Paul Brodeur and the Marlborough Historical Society gave a presentation at Marlborough High School’s Little Theatre of the John Brown Bell and it’s travels. WMCT’s crew of Mike Lawton and Vanessa Gallant were there taping. The multiple camera shoot will be edited next week and on the schedule shortly after. Mayoral Forum: Extra Play Times

September 23rd, 2011

WMCT-TV announced this afternoon that next week, three more play times will be added to the schedule for the Mayoral Primary forum that was taped at the WMCT Studios on Thursday night.  The following play times for next week will be:

Tuesday @ 5pm
Thursday @1pm
Saturday @ 7pm

After the multiple plays the forum is getting this week, these latest hours will be the set times until the Primary Election on October 4th.

Mayoral Forum

The Mayoral Primary Forum was taped last night in the WMCT studios.  It aired at 7:30pm and again at 11pm.  It will run again four times during the weekend.  More playtimes will be added so it can be viewed again several more times before the Primary Election on October 4th.

WMCT wants to thank Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso for participating in the Forum, as well as a special thanks to moderator Suzanne Leeber of the Chamber of Commerce.

Mayoral Forum To Air At 7:30pm

The Mayoral Primary Forum being taped at 6pm tomorrow night and in partnership with the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, has set it’s play back schedule. According to WMCT-TV the half hour forum which will have all three candidates for the seat of Mayor in Marlborough (Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso) will air in the following time slots:

Thursday, September 22nd @ 7:30pm & 11pm
Saturday, September 24th @ 2:00pm & 7:00pm
Sunday, September 25th @ 1:30pm & 8:00pm

WMCT plans to run this forum several more times leading up to October 4th Primary Election. Check back here for more play times soon.

Mayoral Forum

WMCT is partnering with The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce to produce a pre-taped Mayoral Primary Forum on Thursday night at 6pm in the WMCT studios. All three candidates- Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso- will be attending the hour-long discussion hosted by Chamber President and CEO, Suzanne Leeber.

ADITL Mount Washington Shoot A Success!

September 15th, 2011

Dan Guindon and Mike Lawton shot a segment for A Day In The Life at the summit of Mount Washington today. Despite the poor weather they were able to get everything they needed. The episode is due out in November and will be worked on as soon as the segments with Harvey Leonard of channel 5, Stevie’s Eatery and the Lowell Spinners are completed.
