Mayoral Forum

The Mayoral Primary Forum was taped last night in the WMCT studios.  It aired at 7:30pm and again at 11pm.  It will run again four times during the weekend.  More playtimes will be added so it can be viewed again several more times before the Primary Election on October 4th.

WMCT wants to thank Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso for participating in the Forum, as well as a special thanks to moderator Suzanne Leeber of the Chamber of Commerce.

Mayoral Forum To Air At 7:30pm

The Mayoral Primary Forum being taped at 6pm tomorrow night and in partnership with the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, has set it’s play back schedule. According to WMCT-TV the half hour forum which will have all three candidates for the seat of Mayor in Marlborough (Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso) will air in the following time slots:

Thursday, September 22nd @ 7:30pm & 11pm
Saturday, September 24th @ 2:00pm & 7:00pm
Sunday, September 25th @ 1:30pm & 8:00pm

WMCT plans to run this forum several more times leading up to October 4th Primary Election. Check back here for more play times soon.

Mayoral Forum

WMCT is partnering with The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce to produce a pre-taped Mayoral Primary Forum on Thursday night at 6pm in the WMCT studios. All three candidates- Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso- will be attending the hour-long discussion hosted by Chamber President and CEO, Suzanne Leeber.
An exact play time has not yet been set for the schedule. Check back here soon for a set time.

ADITL Mount Washington Shoot A Success!

Dan Guindon and Mike Lawton shot a segment for A Day In The Life at the summit of Mount Washington today. Despite the poor weather they were able to get everything they needed. The episode is due out in November and will be worked on as soon as the segments with Harvey Leonard of channel 5, Stevie’s Eatery and the Lowell Spinners are completed.

A Day In The Life Hits A Home Run

Mike Lawton and Dan Guindon shot part of an episode with the Lowell Spinners today. They got a behind the scenes look at life as a minor league baseball player. Due to the poor weather, the rest of the shoot will happen on next Thursday.

Haverhill Trip A Success

The Downtown Village Association’s trip, sponsored by Olde Marlborough and the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation, was a success, according to City Councilors and downtown business owners. While comparing Haverhill’s downtown and Marlborough’s downtown is like comparing apples to oranges, the group feels that they came away with some great ideas on how to revitalize the downtown area here in town.
WMCT Reporter, Meaghann Mellen was on scene and you can catch her report on Marlborough This Week next weekend starting at 6pm on Friday.

Haverhill Here We Come!

The newly formed Downtown Village Association has been searching for a community somewhat similar to Marlborough that has been successful in revitalizing it’s downtown.  That community is Haverhill!

This Saturday, City Councilors and members of the Downtown Village Association will be traveling to Haverhill as guests to see all the wonderful work they have done to revitalize their downtown area.  WMCT’s Meaghann Mellen and Dan Guindon will be riding along too!  They will be back with a full report for Marlborough This Week and The Magazine!

WMCT at WCVB Channel 5!

The crew of A Day In The Life was at WCVB Channel 5 on Thursday afternoon shooting an episode with Meteorologist Harvey Leonard. Leonard gave our cameras a behind the scenes look at all the work that goes into preparing for the live newscasts.
Editing and scripting should begin early next week in order to complete the new episode.
