After a successful live shoot from the District Education Center (DEC) last night, which were the At-Large Councilor and Mayoral debates, WMCT is at it again tonight. Once again, the DEC is the debate location. This time it’s the Ward Councilor seats, set for 6pm tonight.
“With the Candidate Announcements we taped, the Employment Options debate last week and now the back-to-back live debates, we feel that our viewership has all the information they need to make informed decisions come Election Day,” said Executive Director, Dan Guindon.

WMCT-TV is partnering with The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce to bring viewers three debates in two nights! First up the At Large City Council Debate set for 6pm, Wednesday night at The District Education Center. Following that at roughly 7pm will be the 2nd Mayoral Debate- the 1st was held last week at Employment Options.

The second night of debates on Thursday will be the Ward City Council races. Details to follow soon!

WMCT was there this morning when Employment Options held the first debate of the candidates for Mayor (Arthur Vigeant and Matthew Jones) since the Primary last week.  The debate will be aired on WMCT several times leading up to the Novmeber 1st elections.

It starts tonight at 8:30pm and 10:30pm.

WMCT-TV announced that on Saturday, October 22nd & 29th there will be a Movie House Marathon. Classic Hitchcock and Vincent Price movies are on tap starting at 7pm both nights!
“We hope that this will get our viewers ready for our Halloween Day programming which will feature more of our Halloween-themed programming,” stated Dan Guindon.

Every election year, WMCT-TV offers up an hour of studio time so each candidate for public office can record an announcement of up to 10 minutes to play on the channel.  For the last two weeks the candidates have been taping these announcements and the last day to tape them was Saturday.

Now the crew of WMCT-TV will be putting them together by order of the seat being sought.  Check back here for the start of play times which we expect to be next Monday the 9th.

WMCT-TV announced this afternoon that next week, three more play times will be added to the schedule for the Mayoral Primary forum that was taped at the WMCT Studios on Thursday night.  The following play times for next week will be:

Tuesday @ 5pm
Thursday @1pm
Saturday @ 7pm

After the multiple plays the forum is getting this week, these latest hours will be the set times until the Primary Election on October 4th.

The Mayoral Primary Forum was taped last night in the WMCT studios.  It aired at 7:30pm and again at 11pm.  It will run again four times during the weekend.  More playtimes will be added so it can be viewed again several more times before the Primary Election on October 4th.

The Mayoral Primary Forum being taped at 6pm tomorrow night and in partnership with the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, has set it’s play back schedule. According to WMCT-TV the half hour forum which will have all three candidates for the seat of Mayor in Marlborough (Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso) will air in the following time slots:

Sunday, September 25th @ 1:30pm & 8:00pm

WMCT is partnering with The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce to produce a pre-taped Mayoral Primary Forum on Thursday night at 6pm in the WMCT studios. All three candidates- Arthur Vigeant, Matthew Jones and James Mosso- will be attending the hour-long discussion hosted by Chamber President and CEO, Suzanne Leeber.

Dan Guindon and Mike Lawton shot a segment for A Day In The Life at the summit of Mount Washington today. Despite the poor weather they were able to get everything they needed. The episode is due out in November and will be worked on as soon as the segments with Harvey Leonard of channel 5, Stevie’s Eatery and the Lowell Spinners are completed.
